We had a good run last night. He's turning into quite the little hunter.
Thanks. Palms were good.
Are you still looking to dance?
This poor little pup, you know he isn't very happy right now. Had a bit of a rough night earlier this week. The bites hurt, but I think he's healing all right. Werewolves do that you know. Faster healing, but scars because of it. Think he'll be limping around for another week yet, but after that I think he'll be just fine.
Reyes, I've got a present for you.
So the little pup likes to draw. See? We all get along here.
So that was fun. I went on a midnight jaunt last night with a few mates. Found a new toy. He's four, bright red hair. Kind of quiet. Under a bed, strangely enough when I found him. Think his parents forgot him. Poor kid. I think I'll take care of him. Obviously, he needs a new family.
We had a bit of a problem. Need you at camp.
I've heard through the grapevine that you might be willing to lend you talents to a cause. Any truth to that?
| The palm of the hand is the tenderest part of the human body. He says his name's Jack. Hope he's right handed. Happy birthday to me. I feel better than ever. |
Consider this an official response to your interview: No.
How're you doing?
Oh my, my birthday is on Tuesday. Whatever shall I do to celebrate?
Some poncey reporter called Doris Crockford wants to interview me. Thoughts? I'm not all that interested in it for myself and I'm sure as fuck not going anywhere where there might be Ministry. But if location can get worked out it might be interesting to keep the pack separate from you lot.
We're moved, for the most part. Still throwing tents up, but we're mostly settled. Could use whatever you know in the way of muggle-repelling charms and protective wards. We're in a remote enough area that it hopefully won't be much of a problem anyway, but I'm not taking chances on our location being just stumbled on.
Coordinates are [here]. Let me know if and when you're coming so you don't scare the tetchy ones.
I'm about sick of being challenged every time I get back from something important. If I have to keep beating these pups back into their place, we're never going to get anything done. With any luck, they'll find their niche soon enough. I don't have time to baby and bottle feed them. But I think some of them are finally getting it. The volatile ones are just going to have to go if this keeps up. Which is a shame, because one of them almost put up a good fight. They're useful when they know they're place. I suppose I'll put them in it.
East Sussex is full of weaklings, I'm pretty sure. Wedmore is gone. They're either all dead or captured. Maybe a few of them escaped. Fucking Ministry. We'll get them. Or turn them.
Talked to a vampire today. And a hag. I don't like them. At least vampires are only ever around at night. Hags are fucking weird creatures though.
The Highlands would be best. It's the least populated and we don't have to deal with fucking muggle tourists. It'll be cold in the winter, but fucking everywhere is cold in the winter.
Hogwarts is still my only concern.
Fuck, my leg aches.
And how is the good pup doing?
I need to move the pack. The Highlands is best so far as population density and unexplored terrain. We can be mostly safe from just about everyone as far as I can tell. The only issue I keep coming back to is the proximity of the school and the batty old headmaster. Do either of you have opinions on this? We need to move soon.
Oh, the comforts of home. There's nothing quite like leftovers.
Total of 19. 20, including myself. Some run off when there's a shift in power, that doesn't come as any surprise. Fairly common. 19 that will stay, that I've spoken with and are willing to serve. Good. Largely wizards in some capacity or another but a handful of muggles. Seven or eight. They're the most bitter. Don't belong in either world. They'll be real useful in the future.
We have to get out of these caves. Maybe a similar set up, wherever we go, but this won't work for much longer. There's too much history here, too much they'll remember and associate with. Some place new. So far, my ideas are the Lake District, Dartmoor and the Highlands. I'll take a couple of wolves to scout later this week. No matter where it is, we'll have to think about winter shelters. Tents for now, which we can start stealing.
In touch with a vampire. We'll see. They could be useful.
I do love to stretch my legs.
East Sussex, outside Derby, outside Rhayader. Wedmore maybe, haven't heard in weeks. Devon's got a dense population. Big pack, bastard of an alpha. Should be interesting.
In the highlands would be best. It's cold most of the year but it's the most remote and least likely to be stumbled on. Scout some more, I'm sure I'll have to take some territory.
Hello pup. I hear you're growing up.
This house is a bit poncey for me. Too many rooms. Loads of places for kids to hide. There's one in the basement. I can smell him.
I think I'll wait for him to come up all on his own. He's bound to get hungry.
